The innaugural 30 Days of IPA has now finished, and what a month it was! We've sampled custom brews, chatted to brewers, investigated beer pumps, played golf, lost golf balls, battled on the football pitch, been bepuzzled by pub quizzes, rocked out with twelve IPA (Indie, Punk & Alternative) bands, eaten an extraordinary amount of curry and quaffed a very responsible and respectable amount of fine beer...
The 30 Days of IPA golf tournament, kindly supported by King's Acre Golf Course, RAF Leuchars, Miss Galaxy and Miss Teen Galaxy was a great success. With teams representing most of the pubs and brewers it was a busy 18 holes, and we even got lucky with the weather, the stormy looking clouds seemingly skirting the golf course and innundating the surrounding area instead.

Congratulations to Spat, who walked away as winners of the 30 Days of IPA Battle of the Bands! They'll be heading to the excellent Chambers Studio in Granton to claim their free days worth of recording soon. Thanks also to Caezium and Spat, who got some vouchers from the lovely folk at Red Dog Music, everyone who came down and all the other bands for participating, we had a blast!

That's right folks, the final is tomorrow, and we cannot wait! The bands playing are Caezium, Spat and Jaded Playboy, with the running order being decided on the night. It's FREE ENTRY, so there's no excuse for not coming down, grabbing a cool pint of IPA and making some noise in support of your favourites, so stick it in the diary, and we shall SEE YOU THERE!
